We are specialists in producing these flutes for both popular styles from India viz the Northern or the traditional Hindustani, which comprises mainly of music played on classical instruments and the Southern, also known as Carnatic. Our flutes have the quality of those that are used in high-end musical concerts and played by accomplished professionals. They are crafted by skilled human hands so as to be able to deliver perfect and exceptional quality of tones.

Though the flute, that once accompanied musical concerts, is now being increasingly used in classical music performances, due to its traditional structure, the artist playing it experiences a lot of limitations many times. We carried out a lot of research on this problem and made tremendous improvements to the conventional flute model that is made out of bamboo, due to which playing it has become easier and more convenient. Nilesh Pote, who is a flute player, teacher as well as a flute producer, has named this new and well-researched flute as ‘Kanha’. Celebrated flute player and Nilesh’s Guru Pandit Rupak Kulkarni has honored him by bestowing upon him the title ‘magician of flute’ for his remarkable research work. Not only that, he also plays this special Kanha flute which we have created in his public performances. The Indian flute came to be recognized as an independent instrument due to the ideas of Pandit Pannalal Ghosh. Hence, it became the leading instrument in classical music performances. In the later period, Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasiya played the flute of White-3 pitch and made its profound tunes popular among common masses. However, flute players encountered a lot of problems while using flutes of other tone pitches as Black-1, Black-4 & 5 or White-2 & 6, as they caused a lot of strain on fingers while playing. This trouble was faced by all flute players. So We invented the Kanha flute after conducting an inquisitive study of musical tunes and notes. We have created separate flues that could be played in other eleven tones by using fingers that are employed while playing flutes of White-3 pitch and maintaining the same air-blow and finger positions. A lot of people in this field believe that playing flutes will now be easy because of the Kanha Bansuri we have invented. It has not only reached the whole of India, but has also become popular in countries like Australia, Norway, Dubai, Germany etc in a short time.

Every kanha flute that we produce has been properly and independently set according to the A-440 Hz scale of a piano. This process requires a lot of time since we make only high quality flutes. We also adjust the tuning of flutes as per custom requirements. In case you wish to buy a kanha flute that has different scales such as A-441 Hz, A-442 Hz etc, please inquire about it without any reluctance. The prices for these flutes are the same. They are available for right-handed as well as left-handed players. You only need to specify it if you want to order one for left-handed playing.
